About Air Tanzania

Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is a public enterprise in which the Tanzanian Government owns 100% of the shareholding. The airline is proud to be the national flag carrier of the United Republic of Tanzania with the broad mission to build a strong airline by developing profitable networks. At the moment the aircraft fleet comprises three Boeing 737-200. This combination of fleet provides flexibility allowing a mix of services either charter or scheduled flights. The number of staff currently employed is 271, all dedicated to provide the best customer services and above all, on time performance. The airline’s corporate identity is branded in the colours of the national flag and plays an important role in marketing Tanzania, both inside and outside the country. The airline is proud to be associated with the diverse cultures and friendly people of Tanzania.
